The No Nurse Left Behind (NNLB) Conference was positioned to kick off National Nurses Week – a huge opportunity for NNLB to leverage the conference to advance its mission and brand among nursing professionals. To achieve true connection and mentorship, the conference was planned as an intimate networking opportunity for 50 nursing professionals to connect deeply with each other, discuss professional challenges, and find new ways to advance in their careers. NNLB needed a conference-specific brand strategy that built on its existing brand to attract attendees, engage them with smart digital and analog content, and create opportunities for continued professional support. The Bekôz team created a cohesive conference experience for attendees that facilitated connection and community. We developed the conference brand identity, conference materials (print and digital) along with social/digital assets and graphics.
No Nurse Left Behind (NNLB) is a national organization created to provide mentorship, encouragement, and career coaching for nurses of color. The goal of NNLB’s work is to help more nurses stay in the nursing profession by addressing barriers to career advancement. In 2018, the NNLB team organized its first professional development conference to bring nurses together under a cohesive theme: Plan, Prepare & Prosper in Practice.
